Hi Friends and Family,

It has been almost ten years since we moved from Colombia to New York (and eight to our beloved Brooklyn) and sharing our experience as a "transcultural" family has been something I wanted to do for a while now.

Mia is almost five and Elias is about to walk now. Raising them here has taught me courage but has also been the most thick and exciting experience I have ever had so far.  New York is a place for change, exchange and movement. And that's what we want for ourselves, our kids and our family. So the journey has been intense and amazing.

We are lucky to be part of a great influx of young families who have found a common ground to grow here in Brooklyn. This is an ode to them and to all the stuff that keeps me feeling fascinated.
